Anna Lisa,

Mary Grace and I finally got on your blog. It was fun reading all your entries.

I am going to write about you for people that do not know you and happen to find this blog.

My wife and I met Anna Lisa about 10 years ago in Tuscany. She did our very first wine tour of the region. She and my wife hit it off instantly and I felt like an invisible person sitting in the back seat of the car. They were having so much fun just talking as women do. We saw some great wineries and drank some great wines. Lunch was in a beautiful restaurant overlooking a valley. To say the scereny was fantastic would be an understatement.

The following year we rented a villa in the area and brought our children, a grand child, and some friends. Anna Lisa showed up for dinner one night, along with her children and some great wine. It was fun to renew our friendship.

Anna Lisa was raised for a while in Chicago and has an anunt that lives there. She visited her the following winter and we spent a pleasurable afternoon having a long luch together.

Last Fall we visited Italy again and spent a couple of days with her. The highlight of the time spent (other than wineries visited and wine drank) was having dinner with her at her house.

She is a very gracious person, with a charming personality, and a great knowledge of wine. Dinking the Martin del Nero with her was a real treat. We had some sent back home and think of her everytime we open a bottle. It is delicious.

If anyone is looking for a great person to take them on a wine tour in Tuscany, Anna Lisa is the person. You will not be disappointed.
